Chris Olsen

A long-time entrepreneur, Chris has found his passion and stride in investing in companies that pull from the past.

Chris grew up in the Rust Belt of New York, where he learned from those who were hard working, blue collar; filled with a nostalgia for what was and a pride for what remains.

He began building companies during high school, creating a medical device company that received a US patent and seed funding. After dropping out of college and starting a string of friend & family backed companies, including a vintage first-gen video game store called Voltage Video Games, Chris found his true passion in New Orleans. He relocated to the French Quarter and partnered with a long time friend to create a digital advertising agency called Idea Kraft NOLA.

After two successful years, Chris moved on to his love of all things vintage & antique, starting the Vice & Graft brand and joining Merchant House as a co-op member dealing in vintage furniture and clothing. In the summer of 2021, Chris co-founded Swamp Rags on St. Louis Street in the French Quarter, and has since opened a storefront for Vice & Graft on the famed Royal Street of New Orleans.

He lives in the French Quarter with his wife Megan and children Millie & Tennessee.
